Writers’ Inspiration Lab
ThursDAYS, May 2 - June 27
(no class on June 13)
12-2PM CST | ONLINe
Do you long to write regularly but find it hard to do on your own? Maybe you have a project you dream of completing? Or perhaps you long to read your work aloud and receive supportive, in-the-moment feedback?
The Inspiration Lab is a supportive community where you're encouraged to dream big, experiment wildly, and make concrete progress toward your creative goals.
Each week, you’ll choose your own adventure: generate new work from prompts, work on something in progress, or read a short piece aloud and receive verbal feedback from me and your peers.
In this class, you’ll:
Set a big writing goal and smaller weekly goals to help you get there
Get compassionate support for your goals through weekly check-ins
Dedicate space to nurture your writing every week, whether that’s generating new material or working on a piece in progress
Read your work aloud and receive feedback from me and your classmates
Engage in discussion on a variety of writing-related topics
A typical class includes:
12-12:30 - Group check-in and compassionate accountability for your goals
12:30-1:40 - Choose your own adventure: write from a prompt, work on an existing project, or receive feedback on a short piece of your writing.
1:40-2:00 - Group discussion on writing-related topics such as finding and maintaining creative inspiration, organizing your writing files, revision, etc.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel 10 or more days before the class starts, you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel after that time, you will receive a recording and handouts from the class (online classes only) or credit toward a future class, depending on your preference.
If you cancel on the day of the class, don't show up, or leave early, you will not receive either a refund or credit.
On rare occasions, I may need to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances. If that happens, I will do my best to reschedule for a time when all students can attend.
