Writers' Inspiration Lab

Writers’ Inspiration Lab

ThursDAYS, November 2-december 28 (no class on november 23)
12-2PM CST
ONLINE VIA ZOOM

Do you long to write regularly but find it hard to do on your own? Do you have a writing project you dream of completing but can never seem to find the time? Or maybe you simply love the creative synergy of writing with others?

Part class, part accountability group, part creative inspiration incubator, over eight weeks, we’ll make a simple commitment: to show up and write. Each week, you’ll choose your own adventure: you can use the time to generate new work from guided prompts or bring in a piece in progress to focus on.

You’ll have the chance to share some of what you wrote with the group and set compassionate, achievable writing goals for the week ahead. Writers of all stages and genres are welcome!

Class Outcomes

In this 8-week class, you’ll:

  • Set weekly writing goals and receive compassionate accountability

  • Dedicate space to nurture your writing every week, whether that’s generating new material or working on a piece in progress

  • Get support for developing a regular writing practice

  • Receive guided writing prompts

  • Share your writing in a supportive space

  • Connect with a compassionate community of other writers
