Do you long to write with joy instead of fear?

In this introductory class, you’ll experience my approach to creative writing in a compassionate, hands-on way. You’ll learn mindfulness practices and tools to help you tap into your creativity, connect with what you really want to say, and make friends with yourself and your writing.

Class outcomes:

  • Make friends with yourself and your writing

  • Learn meditation and mindfulness tools

  • Work with fear and resistance

  • Give and receive supportive feedback 

  • Create the beginnings of fresh new work

  • Connect with a compassionate community of other writers

This workshop is open to writers of all levels, regardless of experience with either writing or meditation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • If you cancel 10 or more days before the class starts, you will receive a full refund.

  • If you cancel after that time, you will receive handouts from the class or credit toward a future class, depending on your preference.

  • If you cancel on the day of the class, don't show up, or leave early, you will not receive either a refund or credit.

  • On rare occasions, I may need to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances. If that happens, I will do my best to reschedule for a time when all students can attend.
